I really love making these gorgeous ‘Dream Wedding’ garters, so when John ordered three of these black lace wedding garters, for the bride and her maids, I was in my element sewing!

This is a superior quality, French lace that I’ve hand-beaded with little black droplets and gold seed beads.

I say superior, because it’s the most gorgeous Calais lace with a thicker cord thread, outlining the flowers. Stitched to a pure silk band and so beautiful to wear!

Luxury gifts for the Bride and her maids

A proud Cornish man wanted to give the bride a meaningful and memorable gift on her wedding day. Determined to find something that celebrated his heritage, he searched specifically for a Cornish wedding garter… Something unique and personal. His journey led him to my Dream Wedding garter collection, where one design in particular caught his eye. The black lace wedding garter!

Drawn to the beauty of the lace and craftsmanship, he reached out and made a special request. He asked for the garters to be made in black and gold… The bold and beautiful colours of the Cornish flag. He wanted the bride to wear something that not only looked stunning but also carried deep cultural significance.

But he didn’t stop there. Wanting to extend the symbolism and sentiment, he decided to gift matching garters to the bride’s two maids as well. It was a heartfelt gesture that tied them all together in spirit and tradition on such a special day.
