It rained on our wedding day…
A gift from Mother to Daughter…
An Heirloom Garter
This exquisite ivory silk ruffle wedding garter set is a truly special piece. It features exclusive cotton Nottingham lace, commissioned especially for my designs and sourced from the historic makers who created lace for Princess Diana’s wedding… Making this a genuine heirloom set.
The main bridal garter is delicately ruffled with embroidered cotton tulle, woven with subtle shimmering threads. It is finished with an ivory satin bow and a sparkling diamante crystal for a touch of timeless glamour. Hidden inside is a tiny blue bow, making it a perfect and meaningful “something blue” for your wedding day.
The set includes a matching luxury silk toss garter and arrives beautifully presented in a gift box, making it a perfect keepsake for your wedding day. Each piece is designed to complement your bridal look, adding a touch of elegance and tradition.
The garter set features lace from the same renowned Nottingham supplier who created lace accessories for Princess Diana’s wedding, ensuring exceptional craftsmanship and timeless quality. With its delicate ruffles, shimmering threads, and sparkling crystal detail, this set blends romance, heritage, and sophistication… A truly unforgettable finishing touch for your special day.
To match, I’ve created this tiny lucky sixpence bag using the same beautiful lace, with a genuine British sixpence inside. Traditionally, families gifted a sixpence to brides as part of their wedding day keepsakes, and it has since become a symbol of prosperity and good fortune for the couple. You can tie the bag into your bouquet or give it to your groom to carry in his breast pocket, over his heart. x
