I was so excited making this unique personalised bouquet ribbon!

I do make a machine embroidered bouquet ribbon too, but there is something so special about hand embroidery. Choosing the embroidery floss, silk ribbon and metallic threads. Going back to how things were done in the 1800’s, think Bridgerton weddings or Jane Austin’s Pride and Prejudice… Working with an embroidery hoop, the craftsmanship in tiny stitches and hand-lettering. Taking the time to think about where to place each stitch, every piece being unique to the happy couple. The love being sewn into the silk as the initials are added. I can imagine Elizabeth Bennet carrying this bouquet with its embroidered ribbons, excited to have her wedding date with Mr Darcy stitched into a wonderful keepsake…

My hand embroidery is art, each decorative stitch on the silk fabric helps to tell your story, your wedding, with the flowers and details that you love.

The pure silk satin bouquet ribbon is 53” long, fully lined, the back of the embroidery is hidden inside. It would make a lovely hair ribbon too!

Your initials are embroidered one side, also your wedding date in numbers the other. Choose your floss, silvers and golds are lovely, with a single, subtle metallic thread. Both are decorated with pure silk ribbon roses and variegated green leaves in embroidery floss.
