06Jun French Silk Rose Garter Review…
We had a lovely message from Daniella, one of our bride’s, while on honeymoon in Australia…
We are on our honeymoon! It would be my absolute pleasure to write you a review. If you would like me to do it via Facebook instead, I am more than happy to. This is my review:
I was searching for a garter and I came across this website. I was hesitant because I had seen many sites, and a lot of them were more well known. I’m not very internet savvy but I found a design in silk garters that I loved. Checked some reviews and decided to go with it.
I sent many emails regarding questions and delivery and they were always answered promptly. There was a postal strike in my country when I ordered my garter and the post lost my package. Only the sender was able to post a complaint so I had to ask Silk Garters to do so, and without asking, they sent me a new garter free of charge.
The staff at silk garters went above and beyond to make sure I had the garter of my dreams on my wedding day.
The product I received was exactly the same as the photo. I wore it from 6:30pm until 7am and not once did I have to lift it up or adjust it. I would recommend this product to anyone. Thank you so much Catherine. You went above and beyond and I am eternally grateful
Oh I forgot to write the rating in my email! 10 stars out of 5! 5 is what I expected from a professional company, and 10 is the service I received. We don’t have the professional photos yet so these are iphone quality lol.
Daniella was a dream customer, returning the duplicate garter to us as soon as it arrived… Thank you, you were a real pleasure to work with!
They were married in Parroquia de Santa Barbara in Madrid. Daniella chose a
dress and veil by Galia Lahav Haute Couture. A curvaceous dress, with dainty beaded
crochet sleeves, a lace and beaded bodice falling to a full skirt of tulle and sparkling net…
Preparing for the professional garter photo….
The French silk rose garter in coral pink, with a tiny blue bow hidden inside.
The French Silk Rose Garter, is made using a delicate embroidered tulle, embroidered with flowers. It comes from one of the few remaining British lace companies, they’ve made lace for royal wedding dresses.
Through the middle of the garter a unique French silk ribbon braid, is intricately woven into flowers buds and leaves, just as it would have been from the haute couture ateliers, passementerie…
I’ve seen vintage versions from the 1900’s and similar braid in a beautiful book, 17th and 18th century fashion in detail. Published by the V & A.
